Trial information is placed here, in the weekly newsletter and announced by classroom teachers during eating time as it is received from zone/area convenors.

 

Beecroft Zone Sports include:

 

Australian Football Diving Netball Swimming
Basketball - Boys Football - Boys Orienteering Tennis
Basketball - Girls Football - Girls Rugby League Touch - Boys
Cricket - Boys Golf Rugby Union Touch - Girls
Cricket - Girls Hockey - Boys Softball - Boys Waterpolo
Cross Country Hockey - Girls Softball - Girls Athletics

 

Beecroft Zone and Sydney North Trial are open to year 5 and 6 students only.

These trials are for sport's gifted and talented athletes.

They are not a 'have a go' or 'see how you go' session.

Beecroft Zone Netball Trials

The  convenor is seeking nominations from girls in year 5 and 6 who play:

-Representative netball

-Division 1 netball

 

Beecroft Zone Rugby Union Trial

nominations are open for boys and girls in year 5 and 6 who:

*are representative players

*play division 1

*have an extensive knowledge and understanding of rugby union

 

Beecroft Zone Rugby League Trials

The convenor is after nominations from boys in year 5 or 6 who:

- Play representative rugby league or play in a high level team

- Have a very high level of skill and understanding in rugby league

- Are not average or above average players

 

Beecroft Zone Softball Trial

The convenor is looking for boys and girls in years 5 and 6 who:

* Play representative or club level softball or baseball

* Have a high level of knowledge and skill in softball

* Are not average or above average players.

 

Beecroft Zone Girls Cricket

The Zone convenor is after nominations from:

- girls in year 5 or 6

- play cricket at a high level

- have an extensive knowledge and understanding of cricket.

 

Beecroft Zone Hockey Trials

The Zone convenor is after nominations from:

-boys and girls in year 5 and 6

-representative players

-students who have an extensive knowledge and understanding of hockey.

The convenor also needs to know your position, club, rep team and years of experience. 

 

NSWPSSA Diving Trials

Nominations are open to all students who:

* compete in 1m and 3m springboard and 5m platform diving competitions. 

* meet the minimum diving level of difficulty criteria for their age group.

 

Beecroft Zone Girls Soccer Trials.

The convenor is after nominations from:

- Girls in year 5 and 6

- Play representative soccer or at a high level outside school

- Have a very high knowledge and understanding of soccer

- Are NOT average players.

 

Beecroft Zone Boys Soccer Trials is coming up.

The Zone Convenor is asking for nominations from:

* Boys who are in year 5 or 6

* Play representative soccer

* Play soccer at a very high level

* Are NOT average or above average players

* Have an extensive knowledge and skill in soccer.

 

Beecroft Zone Cricket Trial

The Zone Convenor is looking for nominations from:

*Boys in year 5 and 6 who  play Representative Cricket or are in a very high Grade Cricket team

           * Are not average players.

           * Possess a very high level of skills and understanding of cricket

 

Beecroft Zone AFL Trails

The Zone trial convenor is asking for nominations from students who are:

- Boys in year 5 and 6

- Must play AFL at a high level

 

Beecroft Zone Boys and Girls Tennis Trials

The Zone trial convenor is asking for nominations from students who are:

- Boys and girls in year 5 and 6

- Proficient at singles, doubles and mixed doubles competitive competition and/or tournament tennis

- Highly knowledgeable and skilled in competitive tennis

 

Beecroft PSSA Zone Basketball Trials

The Trial convenor is looking for:

- boys and girls in year 5 and 6,

- students who play basketball at a representative level outside school (eg play for Ryde, Hornsby or Hills).
