Two SRC members are selected from each class from K-6 to represent their individual class and the voices of all students at Dural Public School. SRC members take a pledge at a whole school assembly and receive a badge.
SRC members attend fortnightly lunchtime meetings to discuss suggestions put forward anonymously by their peers and determine if any action can be undertaken to improve Dural Public School. Dural Public School willingly accepts change and is continually trying to improve for the benefit of the students, teachers and wider school community.
Additionally, SRC members contribute their creative and generous ideas for fundraisers and assist in the organisation of these important days. Dural Public School enjoys supporting numerous charities each year through a variety of dress up and donation days.
