Swimming Carnival and Zone Swimming

Meet the Teacher Evening

Join us for our Meet the Teacher Evening, an opportunity for parents and carers to connect with teachers and learn about the year ahead. It’s a great chance to ask questions, build relationships, and support your child’s learning journey.

Harmony Day

Harmony Day celebrates our school’s cultural diversity and promotes inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone. Students are encouraged to wear orange and take part in activities that highlight the strength of our multicultural community.

Camps -  Point Wolstoncroft, Canberra, Band Camp, ZooSnooz

Our camps offer students unique opportunities to learn, grow, and connect outside the classroom. Each camp provides a fun and enriching experience tailored to different interests, from outdoor adventure to music and wildlife exploration.

Cross Country Carnival and Zone Cross Country

Students will challenge themselves at our Cross Country Carnival, showcasing endurance and school spirit across a fun and active day. Top runners will earn the opportunity to compete at the Zone Cross Country, representing our school with pride.

Colour Walkathon

Get ready for a vibrant day of fun and fitness at our Colour Walkathon, where students will walk, run, and get splashed with colour along the way. It’s a fantastic event that promotes wellbeing, school spirit, and raises funds for important school initiatives.

Easter Hat Parade

The Easter Hat Parade is a fun-filled event where students display their unique, handcrafted hats in a festive celebration. Families are welcome to come along and enjoy the colourful creations, music, and joyful atmosphere.

ANZAC Assembly

Our ANZAC Assembly is a respectful and meaningful occasion where students honour the service and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand soldiers. Through reflection, readings, and remembrance, we pay tribute to the spirit of the ANZACs.

Mother's Day Stall – P&C Association

Mother's Day Stall

The Mother's Day Stall (run by the P&C) gives students a special opportunity to choose a heartfelt gift for the important women in their lives. It's a lovely way for children to show appreciation and celebrate the love and care of mothers, grandmothers and carers.

Athletics and Track Carnival, and Zone Athletics

Our Athletics and Track Carnival is an exciting day where students compete in a variety of track and field events, showcasing their speed and strength. Top athletes will have the chance to advance and represent our school at the Zone Athletics competition.

Education Week - Open Day

Education Week Open Day invites families to explore our school’s learning environment and celebrate the achievements of our students. Join us for engaging activities, classroom visits, and a chance to meet our dedicated teachers.

Book Week and Book Parade

Book Week celebrates the joy of reading with a variety of fun and engaging activities for all students. The highlight is the Book Parade, where students dress up as their favourite characters and bring stories to life.

The Art Show

Come explore the incredible creativity of Dural Public students at our annual Art Show, held in the school hall. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and appreciate the artistic talents of our young artists.

Fathers Day Stall

Father's Day Stall

The Father's Day Stall (run by the P&C) offers students the chance to pick out thoughtful gifts to celebrate the special dads and father figures in their lives. It’s a fun way for kids to show appreciation and make Father’s Day memorable.

Hills Public Speaking Competition

The Hills Public Speaking Competition gives students the opportunity to develop and showcase their speaking skills in a supportive environment as they progress to compete against other schools in the area. Each year group is assigned a specific topic, encouraging focused preparation and confident delivery.

Surf Ed

(Year 5) Surf Ed provides students with hands-on lessons in surf safety, swimming skills, and beach awareness. It’s a fun and educational program designed to build confidence and promote water safety.

Presentation Day Assembly is a special event where students are recognized for their achievements and efforts throughout the year. It’s a time to celebrate success, hard work, and the milestones reached by our school community.
