Year 1 Excursion to Longneck Lagoon

On Tuesday 15th June, Year 1 students will be going on an excursion to Longneck Lagoon Environmental Education Centre at Cattai.

This will be a wonderful hand on experience that compliments our science unit on Schoolyard Safari. Students will be involved in wonderful hands on activities including dipnetting for water bugs observing characteristics of water bugs and their life cycles, they will participate in a bush bug habitat walk where they will identify and classify bush bugs. 

Children will need to be at school at 8:45am ready to board the bus. 

Please meet under the bus shelter outside the office. 

The bus is expected back to school at 3pm ready for dismissal at 3:20pm.

 Please pack morning tea, lunch and drink in an excursion bag. 

Children are to wear their sports uniform on the day, must bring a hat and wear sunscreen.
